Very nice work... You really have a knack for making polished pieces with that old-timey unpolished, raw style...

I'd almost say you're Pink Floyd for Digital Art: One of your best techniques is fooling the audience into making the art inside their own heads by giving just enough detail to inspire imaginative creativity, but not enough to overwhelm.

The Lizard is very beautifully done, and exudes a definite threat, a dangerous air...

The Palm-forest and sandy scrubland is quite good. This is one of the Pink Floyd moments... You've put in enough detail to allow the viewer to experience what the area is like, but is rough and unfocused enough to not detract from the focus.

The Man is wonderfully animated, and it almost feels as if a full minute of his life story has been painted into the blink of an eye, the fluttering of a camera shutter...

Flaws: There are very few, and only by looking very closely are they apparent.

The Lizard's neck seems just a little awkward... As though it is slightly too long, or set slightly too close to the ground, for how thick it is. I cannot tell exactly, and it may even be my imagination playing tricks on me...

The Man's pose is slightly off. His torso seems very slightly skewed from where it should be... Only by a small degree, but that is how it looks to me. Also, the barrels on the gun seem a little low on the stock for the angle they are shown to point in.

All-in-all, a very, very good piece; definitely worth more than the standard 1,000 words, and far more than the paltry 309 I have spared you.

I hope you continue to improve your art, and take every piece of criticism with both a grain of salt, and as the grain of truth.

I'm flattered by quantity of time which you have given for me! It gives me confidence to continue the employment. Your criticism is in many respects fair. I often don't see obvious things when I draw. Then lacks leave, but I'm already occupied by other work and seldom I alter. Probably it is called Russian laziness =)
Thanks for your analysis and for compliments!

I heard that you can easier run from an alligator, if you zig-zag. They have problems with turning ;P
